Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments in a warehouse. Work involves moderate to heavy exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate to heavy physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Work environment involves exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require strict understanding and adherence to safety precautions.

Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items, labeling packages, and arranging for transportation
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Operate warehouse equipment including hand carts and forklifts
- Assist with order picking and order fulfillment as needed
- Ensure compliance with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) procedures

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred
- Familiarity with shipping processes
- Knowledge of stock control principles and procedures
- Ability to operate a folk lift or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
